Tall, gawky, and sometimes mistaken for a man, Miranda has always had struggles fitting in. But she doesn't have to worry about her social awkwardness when she's hanging out with her best friend Stevie at the joke shop she owns. Miranda's mother is desperate for her to get a more serious job, but Miranda is simply trying to make sense of her own awkward life and figure out what she wants to be. But time doesn't wait for anyone, and she finds herself opening up to the world and develop more mature adult relationships despite her unconventional way of acting.
