Plot
In the quaint town of Copper Canyon, young Maxwell "Max" McGrath's life takes an unexpected turn when he moves in with his mother. He discovers his internal power, TURBO Energy, that soon attracts new friends, adversaries, and super-villains who are hell-bent on harnessing his energy for their nefarious plans. To safeguard the world from the malevolent grasp of Miles Dredd and his wicked Elementors, Max aligns himself with N-TEK, a covert organization founded by his deceased father, Jim McGrath.
Max's unique abilities are kept under wraps with the assistance of his companion, Steel, an Ultra-Link known later to be of extraterrestrial origin. Steel helps regulate Max's powers, preventing them from reaching a hazardous critical level. In the heat of battle, Steel morphs into various armors, each suitable for the current terrain of conflict, providing Max with the edge he needs.
