Xu Qing You is a fiercely dedicated corporate high-flyer who's engrossed in her flourishing career at a promising firm. Her meticulously planned life includes a decade-long romance with Fan Yun Xi, a man she intends to marry soon. However, when a shocking revelation of his infidelity shatters her dreams, she abruptly ends their engagement. To drown her pain, she retreats to the solace of a bar where she encounters Mo Ling Ze, a charismatic performer on stage. Unbeknownst to her, their paths had crossed earlier that day, leading to a small yet sour exchange. Under the influence, she engages in a conversation with Mo Ling Ze and wakes up the next morning in a hotel room, hazily recalling the previous night's events. She's mortified, presuming a one-night stand, and the situation escalates when she discovers that Mo Ling Ze has assumed control of her company.
