Life Unexpected (2010)

This series is about a girl named Lux who has grown up in foster homes. She’s only 15 years old, but she sets off to find her birth parents in an attempt to find herself. She starts the legal process to learn what happened to her after birth and how she ended up in foster care. She finally finds her birth father, who didn’t know he had a daughter and her birth mother, a local radio personality. Will she achieve her aim of becoming an independent minor, or will the court assign her to one or both of her parents?
