Life (2007)

Charlie Crews was a highly talented detective until 12 years ago. As a cop falsely accused of murder, Charlie faced horrible abuses at the hands of his fellow prisoners, but he's recently been exonerated and freed from that hell. Charlie has since returned to the force, but he operates now with a greater sense of clarity that gives him both an edge on his fellow officers and a greater responsibility to handle. Charlie wants justice to be done, but he needs to be absolutely certain that no innocent person is falsely imprisoned because of a mistake that he's made as a cop.
