Labyrinth (2012)

A tale spun across centuries, the mini-series Labyrinth is a riveting journey of two women bound by destiny and a divine pursuit. Intrepid volunteer Alice Tanner (Vanessa Kirby) stumbles upon a clandestine find during a French archaeological dig – the skeletal remains of two souls and a ring engraved with an intricate labyrinth, a discovery that piques the interest of ominous entities. Parallelly, we travel back to 1209, where the resolute Alaïs Pelletier du Mas (Jessica Brown Findlay) resides in Carcassonne, a fortress of the Cathars, branded heretics by the Church. Freshly wedded, Alaïs, along with her father, safeguards three holy books that hold the enigma of the Holy Grail, veiling it from the bloodthirsty Crusaders. This mini-series masterfully interweaves the lives of Alice and Alaïs, uniting them in their shared quest for the Holy Grail, as they navigate trials and tribulations across the landscapes of time.
