Killer by the Lake (2017)

In the haunting shadow of a past investigation by a lake, police officers Lise and Clovis find themselves navigating the murky waters of a new mystery. Three years have passed since the disappearance of a young teenager, a case that forever bonded them and now, the duo faces a fresh challenge at a different lake: Annecy. Here, amidst the placid water and serene landscapes, they are not only wrestling with the complexities of a demanding new case but also the trials of a new family life with their infant son, Tom. Clovis, trapped in a web of clandestine calls and chilling visions, begins to unmask a sinister side, while Lise grapples with the echoes of her past resurfacing. Their quiet existence is shattered when the lifeless bodies of two women are discovered in close succession.
