When gentle and naive student Yuji Itadori signs up for his high school's Occult Club, he doesn't expect to discover that its members are literal sorcerers who can bend reality to their will. In an attempt to protect his new friends from its energy, Yuji swallows the finger of a demon named Sukuna. Unfortunately, that both turns Sukuna into a host for Yuji and empowers him with incredible magic. He soon enrolls in the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical College as a way to develop his talents as a sorcerer and cast off the curse that was placed on him by eating the talisman.
