Plot
It's been a decade since much of Tokyo split off and fell into the sea, but young earthquake survivor Ganta has a new challenge to deal with. He's been imprisoned for the massacre of his entire school class, and no one believes that it was really a mysterious and supernaturally-powered stranger that's responsible for the crime. While the real killer runs free, Ganta is imprisoned and forced to compete in a series of depraved games for his survival. But if he wants to be free, he'll need to do more than just survive. He'll need to find the creature responsible for his current predicament.
