It Started with a Kiss (2005)

In the bustling corridors of high school, the not-so-academically gifted Yuan Xiang Qin (Ariel Lin) bravely opens her heart to the intellectual titan, Jiang Zhi Shu (Joe Cheng)—a prodigy boasting an impressive IQ of 200. Her love, however, is met with public dismissal instead of the hoped-for reciprocation. Fate takes a seismic shift when an earthquake robs Xiang Qin and her father of their home, leading them to the doorstep of an old college buddy, Uncle Li. Coincidentally, Uncle Li is none other than Zhi Shu's father. Despite their newfound proximity, Zhi Shu maintains a frosty demeanour, convinced of Xiang Qin's intellectual inferiority. Undeterred, Xiang Qin embarks on a quest for self-improvement, nurturing a determination to thaw Zhi Shu's icy indifference and slowly win his heart.
