Plot
In the heartwarming and humor-laced sitcom "Indebted," young parents Dave and Rebecca, having weathered the tempest of diapers and midnight lullabies, are ready to usher in a new era of tranquility. Their dreams of a serene life take a whimsical detour when they find themselves the unexpected hosts to Dave's parents. Financial missteps have left the older couple cash-strapped and in dire need of a roof over their heads.
Dave, who owes his life and much more to his parents, grudgingly clears a path for this familial invasion. His parents, however, are of the boomerang generation—ones who return to their roots after a taste of the world. Their concept of boundaries is as fluid as a modern art painting, leading to a chaotic and hilarious blend of roles within the household.
Adding an extra sprinkle of comedy to this melting pot of generations is Dave's sister, a vibrant lesbian who navigates this familial circus with a sharp wit. Together, they tackle the sizable debt, unpack the mystery of generational boundaries, and redefine the essence of family.
