Plot

Underneath a moonlit sky, a man of middling years tries to evade a relentless police officer. His escape leads him to the eerie solitude of an abandoned house, with the relentless officer hot on his heels. The chase culminates in a chilling bite, the officer's fangs sinking into the man’s neck, feeding off his lifeblood, revealing a terrifying reality - the officer is no ordinary human. In the bustling heart of Tokyo, Akira Miyamoto, a university student, is far removed from such horrors. However, the shadow of his older brother Atsushi's inexplicable half-a-year disappearance hangs heavy over him. The cheerful memory of Atsushi, who vanished while on a journey with his beloved fiancé, has now turned into a painful enigma, plaguing his family. Akira returns to his hometown during the summer break, reuniting with his childhood companions Yuki, Ken, Bon, Nishiyama, and Kato. But before the nostalgic homecoming, he encounters a mysterious beauty named Rei. She possesses an item that sends shivers down his spine - Atsushi's driving license. Rei spins a tale of vampires inhabiting her village, and Atsushi being embroiled in a deadly fight against them. Skepticism clouds Akira's mind, but the unfolding nightmare soon validates Rei's ominous tale. When Akira and his friends find themselves in the crosshairs of blood-thirsty vampires, disbelief gives way to terrifying reality. Spurred by the need to rescue Atsushi, they embark on a perilous journey to the island of Higanjima. As they edge closer to the island, they remain oblivious to the nightmarish realm that awaits them, ready to test their courage and resolve beyond the wildest stretches of their imagination.
