Happy Valley (2014)

Ever since the death of her daughter eight years prior, serious-minded police officer Catherine Cawood has thrown herself into her job as a way to cope. She finds herself working on a case involving a kidnapping, but things go wrong and the case transforms into a grisly set of serial murders. Now forced to deal with a series of crimes the likes of which her town has never seen, Catherine will have to ask herself what she's doing and finally confront the memory of the child that's no longer in her life.
