In the heart of Korean culinary tradition, the lives of two gifted chefs, Bong Joo and Sung Chan, intertwine. Brought together by fate, Sung Chan, an orphan, is adopted by Bong Joo's illustrious family, renowned for their ancestral lineage to the last royal chef of the Joseon Dynasty and their acclaimed traditional Korean restaurant. As the elder, Bong Joo anticipates inheriting the family legacy and the heart of Joo Hee, only to have his dreams derailed by an unexpected culinary contest announced by his father. Sung Chan, with his youthful exuberance, unconventional methods, and exceptional talent, emerges as an unforeseen challenger, rattling the traditional kitchen hierarchy. Despite being viewed as a threat by some, he finds an ally in Joo Hee, who empathizes with his situation. However, a shocking revelation about their great-grandfather's history triggers a personal crisis for Bong Joo, pushing him to prove his worth.
