Goodbye Ghosts! (2016)

In the shadowy world of the supernatural, university student Madoka Tsutsumi (Sota Fukushi) is a stoic young man who's never been one for impulsive acts or emotional displays. His monotonous life takes an unexpected turn one night when he stumbles upon a peculiar sight - an aging ghost locked in a physical altercation with a pink rabbit. The rabbit, taken aback by Madoka's ability to see them, introduces itself as the Angel of Death. The old man, it reveals, is a recently departed soul. From this chance encounter, Madoka is drawn into the spectral world, partnering with Nabeshima, the whimsical Angel of Death, and Yuzuko, his celestial colleague. Together, they embark on a unique mission - to help the deceased confront their lingering regrets and find peace in the afterlife. Joining forces with the enigmatic senior Sachi Aguma (Tao Tsuchiya), Madoka offers his body as a vessel for these restless spirits, allowing them to resolve their earthly issues. As he navigates this spectral journey, Madoka embarks on a path of self-discovery, venturing deeper into the realm of the unseen in "Goodbye Ghosts!" (2016). A series that blends the mundane with the mystical, it's a touching exploration of life, death, and the mysteries that bridge the two.
