Just as Xander's world threatens to tumble into the mundane, a new nemesis materializes. Enter Killface, a villain with a genocidal agenda and an incomplete doomsday device, the Annihilatrix. His diabolical plan? Propelling Earth straight into the sun. However, his ambition towers over his budget. Killface needs 12 billion dollars to actualize his world-ending weapon, a sum that's hardly pocket change, even for a super-villain.
Ironically, the only person capable of funding such an endeavor just happens to be experiencing an existential crisis. As fate would have it, there's a billionaire playboy in town with a superhero-sized hole in his life.
