Friday Night Dinner (2011)

The Goodman family has a standing ritual for Friday night Shabbat, and that's a ritual that won't change even after the kids grow up and move on with their own lives. Dutiful sons Martin, Adam, and Jonny always make it out to see their father Jackie and their mother Martin. The Goodmans aren't particularly religious, but each Friday offers them an opportunity to be their true and open selves for at least a few hours. Whether it's the two youngest sons playing prank wars on one another or neighbor Jim coming by to ease his loneliness, nothing is every quite normal.
