Plot
The city of Fargo, North Dakota isn't the central location for every story in this crime series, but its looms large over every story. Frozen Minnesota may not have the criminal glamour of Los Angeles or Chicago, but the criminals in the frozen north tend to have a heart of cold. And something about the cold seems to make all of them eccentric. Tales of crime and vice play on the same recurring themes of ordinary people being pulled into extraordinary circumstances and the inherent banality of evil. And fans of the Coen Brothers' filmography will find plenty of references to enjoy.
