Plot

Immersed in the unforgiving realm of Norway's financial scene, 'Exit' is a gripping drama, inspired by genuine stories of four friends from the affluent west side of Oslo, who are desperately seeking an escape from their monotonous existence. Although their lives exude success, they are ensnared in a relentless cycle of obligations, wealth, and deceit. The quartet, bound by a distinct narcissistic streak, grapple with the contradiction of their millionaire status and family commitments against their insatiable craving for violence, narcotics, and debauchery. 'Exit' invites you into the high-stakes world of these four men, who became multi-millionaires before their 30th birthday. Their lives unfold across a rich tapestry of luxurious estates in Oslo's west side, towering offices, exotic vacation homes in Norway and beyond, and a clandestine party sanctuary they collectively own, unknown to their unsuspecting wives. Here, they create their own rules, indulging in drugs, soliciting prostitutes, and maintaining a unique moral code that suits their hedonistic lifestyles. This dark drama draws on real-life narratives gathered from interviews with four highly successful investors from Oslo. 'Exit' reveals a stark reality that, although existing right before our eyes, remains unseen, possibly because the truth is often more bizarre, shadowy, and hollow than any work of fiction. In their pursuit to escape everyday life, these men expose a world of unseen excess and corruption, forcing viewers to question: what really happens when success is not enough? Welcome to 'Exit'.
