Plot
Raymond Barone writes a sports column for Newsday. He lives on Long Island with his wife and kids in a home. Typically, Ray tries to avoid household chores and leaves childcare to Debra. Frank and Marie, Ray's parents, live right across the street from them, to Debra's frequent and regular dismay. Brother Robert lives there as well.
Debra doesn't enjoy Ray's parents and brother constantly barging into their home. Likewise, she has issues with Ray's indifference to situations and reverence to his mother. The Barones constantly argue amongst themselves, and comedic situations ensue among the family members on a regular basis.
