Plot

In the forbidding confines of San Onofre prison, former cop Miguel Palacios, played by Juan Minujín, assumes a false identity as Pastor Peña, a convict with an invented rap sheet. He enters this den of thieves and murderers on a clandestine mission: to infiltrate a powerful mafia operating from within the prison walls. This band of criminals, a tangled web of inmates and corrupt jailers, holds a chilling secret – they've kidnapped the teenage daughter of a prominent national judge. Driven by a favor owed to the desperate judge, Miguel is tasked with unveiling the kidnappers and locating the captive girl. As he penetrates deeper into the prison's underbelly, he gains the trust of its dangerous inhabitants, maneuvering through a world where survival is the only law. Among the sinister figures he must navigate are the domineering Superintendent of the Prison, Gerardo Romano, a cunning social psychologist, Martina Gusmán, and the puppet-master of this macabre show, Claudio Rissi, a revered inmate who commands the prison from the inside. Despite successfully securing the girl's release, Miguel's mission takes a treacherous turn when he is betrayed and stripped of his false identity. Now trapped as just another inmate in this labyrinth of violence, his true identity unknown and surrounded by individuals far more monstrous than ordinary criminals, he confronts a chilling realization: his only road to salvation is escape. With his life hanging by a thread, Miguel must outwit his captors, reclaim his name, and break free from the sinister grip of El Marginal.
