Iñaki, a reserved Basque man in his prime, has spent his entire life nestled in the heart of San Sebastián, Euskadi. His world is confined to his inherited bar, where he shares weekly mus matches with his close-knit circle of friends, and his mother, Maritxu, an overbearing presence who has always been his north star. Iñaki's quiet, predictable life takes an unexpected turn when he is pulled into a journey to the vibrant city of Seville with Maritxu. The trip, a far cry from his familiar Basque lands, becomes a pivotal point in his life when a tragic fall plunges Maritxu into a coma on their very first night.
Suddenly, Iñaki finds himself stranded 'down there,' in a world far removed from his own, grappling with the weight of his mother's ill health.
