In the aftermath of a crippling financial crisis, an array of displaced families find themselves making a home in a quirky vacation campground situated in the rustic outskirts of Madrid. This motley crew of unlikely neighbors, each with their own eccentric quirks, embark on a journey of survival and solidarity.
At the heart of this whimsical chaos is Tino, a churro-maker with a complicated family life, juggling his wife, her daughter, and his trio of children from past relationships, whose paternity is a constant source of speculation. Then there are José Luis and Sonsoles, a once affluent couple grappling with their fall from grace, yet stubbornly clinging onto the facade of their former social standing.
Adding to the mix is Lola, a vivacious alcoholic with a fiery daughter, Candela, who turns heads and raises eyebrows. Alongside them, lifelong buddies Jorge and Angel share an intriguing bond that often mirrors the dynamics of a married couple. Sandra, a rogue yet benevolent unlicensed doctor, covertly offers medical help to the camp.
The campground's owner, Chema, a war veteran with a heart as big as his past, and his lascivious sister Eli, the campground's handywoman, complete this colorful ensemble. Each episode sees these disparate lives intertwining, exploring the humorous and heartwarming trials and tribulations of their unique makeshift community.
