Plot

In the shadowy echoes of a past explosion, the enigmatic Chimera case was born, a chilling sequence of events that resulted in a notorious serial murder mystery. Fast forward 35 years and history eerily repeats itself with an explosion strikingly similar to the original. This ignites the curiosity of the tireless Detective Cha Jae-Hwan (Park Hae-Soo), whose determination is as solid as steel. In the puzzle of this intricate case, two other unique pieces fit. Eugene (Soo-Hyun), a woman embraced by an American family in her childhood, once lent her expertise to the FBI. Now, as a proficient criminal profiler, she's drawn to the haunting whispers of the Chimera case. Meanwhile, Lee Joong-Yeop (Lee Hee-Jun), adopted by a British family as a child, chose the scalpel and stethoscope, becoming a skilled surgeon. He returned to his native South Korea, only to be entangled in the web of this enigma. Driven by their disparate motivations, Cha Jae-Hwan, Eugene, and Lee Joong-Yeop unite, compelled to delve into the murky depths of the Chimera case. The truth of this chilling mystery is what they seek, even as it beckons them into a maze of intrigue and danger.
