The most skilled medical professionals in Chicago are those serving on the front lines. There's never a quiet night at the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, but that's probably a good thing. The staff has a tendency to make drama for themselves even when they're dealing with life or death struggles. For most of the nurses and doctors, life in the Emergency Room is the only life they know, and that means that they often stumble into messy romantic and personal circumstances right in the midst of genuine medical emergencies.
