As summer's glow descends upon the land, Camp Camp unfurls the tale of ten-year-old Max, a boy with a jaded heart, marooned in the chaotic world of Camp Campbell. This is not just a camp, but a realm of dysfunction, cradled in the greedy hands of an unscrupulous business tycoon with an insatiable quest for profit. Max's survival amidst this chaos is an uphill battle, a challenge that requires him to navigate through the chirpiness of David, the camp counselor whose optimism is as abundant as the summer sunshine, and Gwen, his co-counselor, whose optimism has long since withered. Joining Max in the crucible of this summer adventure are Neil and Nikki, two more unwilling captives of the summer vacation. Together, they form an unlikely band of misfits in the belly of this bizarre beast called Camp Campbell. Their ordinary childlike expectations of campfires and marshmallows are constantly upturned by the camp's eccentric inhabitants and its relentless torrent of surprises.
