In the heart of suburban tranquility, a self-assured single mother, Jackie, and her world are sent into an unexpected whirlwind. Her estranged sister, Elizabeth, together with her flamboyantly wealthy, big-hearted husband Javier, and his fiercely loyal assistant/friend/driver Luis, suddenly land on her doorstep. The opulent couple, now penniless due to Javier's disinheritance by his father, find themselves in desperate need of a place to call home. Despite initial shock, Jackie opens her doors to this unlikely trio, turning her humble family home into their sanctuary. The sudden merger of their strikingly different lifestyles strains the limits of familial ties, as the small house finds itself bursting at the seams with its new occupants.
