Plot
The War of the Roses is nearly at its end, and Edmund the Blackadder has essentially fallen upward into success. By accidentally killing King Richard III, he's now become a prince. But three witches tell him that he's destined to be king, and he's willing to achieve that end at any cost. At his side are a pair of mostly dim-witted sidekicks who are nevertheless committed to assisting him. Unfortunately, Blackadder's boorish demeanor, ugly personality traits, and general sense of poor etiquette makes him intolerable for most people to be around. Despite this, he'll manage to stumble his way through the backdrop of countless major historical events.
