The Orville (2017)

It's 400 years in the future, and we've managed to avert catastrophe and take off to the stars. The Orville is an exploratory ship sent out to learn about planets outside of human knowledge, but they employ a diverse crew of species from around the galaxy for their missions. That means that customs and culture sometimes clash, but the crew at large is committed to the same mission. Whenever possible, the Orville foregoes martial engagement in form of diplomacy and makes a habit of not interfering with societies that have yet to reach a certain level of technological and social progress.
