Her presence in this political epicenter begins to sway President Roosevelt's perspective on the horrifying events unfolding across the Atlantic. A simple friendship blooming in the heart of Washington transforms into a whirlwind of emotion and political upheaval as Märtha courageously condemns the Nazi regime. Risking her own marital harmony, she passionately advocates for her homeland, persuading the President towards a stance of support for Norway. This marked the first footfall in a long, arduous journey that eventually brings the United States into the throes of the War. However, Märtha's bold steps stir a tempest of adversaries, with some lurking in unexpected corners, even within the confines of the White House.
