In the bustling world of Tokyo, Kohei Namiki (Hidetoshi Nishijima), a single man on the brink of his 40s, ekes out a living with a part-time job at a security company. Despite his charming looks and winsome personality, Kohei often finds himself being manipulated by those around him. With a heart brimming with dreams but a life hemmed in by familial responsibilities and financial constraints, he yearns for a star that seems forever out of reach. On an ordinary day, Kohei's life takes a dramatic turn when he's assigned as the personal bodyguard to the stunningly beautiful actress, Han Yoo-Na (Kim Tae-Hee).
