In the restless underbelly of a technologically advanced society, the enigma of 8-Man's sudden disappearance continues to echo in the mind of Sachiko. She is haunted by the day she discovered the unsettling truth, that Azuma-san, her dear Rachiro Azuma, was the 8-Man. His abrupt vanishing act felt like a wound that wouldn't heal. Pushing past her personal turmoil, she found solace in her work at the Public Relations division of the Biotechno Corporation. The world around her was evolving. Crime had adopted a new, grotesque face, and technology had intercepted the game rules. Power, however, remained the all-encompassing player, the ultimate prize sought by high crime. The city was under siege by a new breed of near-indestructible cyborg criminals, leaving her wondering: Could an old cyborg crime fighter be the answer? Amidst this turmoil, 8-Man re-emerges from the shadows, a familiar savior with an unfamiliar mind. His rebirth introduces a new host, private detective Hazama Itsuru, a man of grit and occasional violence, who lived life on his terms. Now embodied as 8-Man, his swift and often ruthless approach gives him a terrifying edge. Haunted by memories of his past life, old grudges and foes, Hazama Itsuru is a volatile spirit housed in an indestructible body. The resulting fusion of past vendettas and present power raises an unsettling question: What havoc will this volatile combination wreak? The city watches with bated breath, as the story of the resurrected 8-Man unfolds, leaving everyone on tenterhooks.
