Cowboy Bebop (1998)

Jet Black and Spike Siegel are bounty hunter partners with distinctly different sensibilities. Black is a former cop who's quiet and cool, while Spike is an easy-going outlaw who's laziness and curiosity tend to get him in hot water. Their adventures in a Milky Way galaxy that's been colonized frequently brings them into dangerous situations and often asks them to make tough ethical decisions. But they won't be alone. They join up soon with a mysterious thief known as Faye Valentine and a feral, genius kid named Ed. The money isn't great, but it's a lifestyle that offers these misfits freedom.
