Plot

In the riveting TV show '20 Minutes,' we follow the life of Ali, an affable history teacher with a passion for academia, who is thrust into a whirlwind of drama and danger when his wife, Melek, is accused of a heinous crime. Melek, the backbone of their family and a successful bakery owner, is arrested for the alleged attempted murder of Kerim, the offspring of a formidable and corrupt ex-Mayor, Necmettin. The family's joyful celebration of their new home is abruptly interrupted by the chilling knock of the police, marking the beginning of their nightmare. Necmettin, a man of few affections, sets out on a vengeful mission to ruin Melek's life, blaming her for the grievous harm that befell his beloved son. Ali, caught in the crossfire, grapples with keeping his family together whilst their matriarch faces torment behind bars. His children, Duru, a teenager, and Yagiz, a young diabetic, are left reeling, longing for their mother's presence. Ali struggles to navigate the turbulent waters of parenthood alone, all while desperately trying to uncover the truth behind the accusations against his wife. In the harsh confines of the jail, Melek endures the brutalities of the deputy warden, Sureyya, a pawn in Necmettin's cruel game. Despite her sufferings, she finds unexpected allies amongst her fellow prisoners. As she weaves through the tangled web of prison life, she begins to notice a sinister pattern, hinting that her fate might be intertwined with the other inmates in more ways than one. '20 Minutes' leads us on a thrilling journey of courage, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of truth. As Ali battles to restore his family, and Melek fights for her freedom, their story will leave you on the edge of your seat, desperate for the revelation of each new piece in this intricate puzzle.
