Plot

In the verdant heart of Jellystone natural park, Head Ranger Smith presides with a dedicated yet simpleton trainee ranger, Jones, whose ambitions extend beyond folding maps and cleaning up. Their world is a whirlwind of Yogi Bear's inventive antics, but an impending storm brews on the horizon. Jellystone is on the brink of celebrating its 100th anniversary, but the park's longevity is threatened by a financial shortfall and Mayor Brown’s insidious plan to close the park, sell the land as farmland, and use the proceeds to curry favor with voters for his gubernatorial ambitions. The stakes are high - if the park closes, Yogi Bear and his companion Boo Boo face the loss of their home. United by this looming threat, the rangers and bears ally with Rachel, a nature documentary maker and potential romantic interest for Smith. They embark on a desperate quest to overturn the deficit and preserve Jellystone Park. With the park's centenary as their ace in the hole, they pin their hopes on a surge in season ticket sales. However, as the festival approaches, the cunning Mayor Brown bribes Jones with the promise of promotion, hoping to sabotage the centenary event and seal the fate of Jellystone. The survival of the park now hinges on Yogi Bear proving he's not just "smarter than the average bear" but also capable of outsmarting a political scheme. As the clock ticks down to the fiscal deadline, they must uncover a natural miracle hidden within the park's depths that might just save their beloved home.
