Where the Wild Things Are (2009)

Max is a lonely little boy. He sails away from home to try and find friends. Max lands on the shores of a fantasy island where the "Wild Things" live. They are a tribe of huge yet friendly monsters who immediately accept Max as their king. Max lives happily with the Wild Things until he starts to miss home. He wants to sail back home again but the Wild Things might not be ready to let him go yet.
