In the stifling solitude of a seemingly ordinary evening, Jill Johnson, a teenage babysitter, finds herself in the sprawling home of a reputable physician and his wife. As the darkness deepens, Jill endures a chilling cat-and-mouse game with a faceless tormentor who calls her throughout the night. His ominous silence punctuated by the haunting question, "Have you checked the children?" grows increasingly unnerving. Driven by a primal fear for her safety and that of the children, Jill reaches out to the police for help.
