Plot

Immerse yourself in the vibrant cultural mosaic of LA's Fairfax district, where four diverse households grapple with the complexities of family dynamics amidst Thanksgiving celebrations. In the Nguyen clan, a cross-cultural chasm widens as the children's assimilation into American culture clashes with their immigrant parents' deep-rooted fears. The Avila family finds their feast disrupted when Isabel's son invites her estranged husband to join them, stirring up old wounds. Audrey and Ron Williams play a delicate balancing act of keeping their familial fractures hidden from Ron's unsuspecting mother. In the Seelig homestead, a veil of silence cloaks the unconventional living arrangement of their adult daughter with her lover, Carla. As each family gathers around their respective tables, simmering tensions reach boiling point. A misplaced firearm, a clandestine affair, an unexpected boyfriend, and an unforeseen pregnancy trigger a series of crises, compelling each family to navigate their way back to unity and understanding.
