In the heart of the holiday season, savvy resort developer Madison Lane (Finnigan) is assigned the task of scouting locations for an upcoming ski resort. With plans to propose Mountain Park as the ideal spot, an unexpected directive from her boss reroutes Madison to the quaint town of Christmas, Colo., lured by an enticing incentive package offered by the town. As fate would have it, Madison's arrival in town is marked by a chance encounter with the town's welcome sign, resulting in a minor road mishap. She is rescued by the town's charismatic Sheriff Gage McBride (Mabius), who offers her a ride into town while her car is being repaired. Unbeknownst to Madison, the townsfolk have hatched a plan to charm and persuade her into choosing Christmas as the perfect location for the new ski resort.
