Plot
In the shadowy corridors of Korean history, two young siblings, Nam-yi and Ja-in, are hurled into a desperate flight by King Injo's relentless guards. Their only savior is their father, Choi Pyeong-ryung, a loyal officer under King Gwanghae and an archer of unmatched prowess. As danger looms, the children are sent into hiding with their father's trusted comrade, Kim Mu-seon.
The young Ja-in pleads with Nam-yi to return to their father, only to witness the tragic fall of their patriarch. Bearing the scars of a savage dog attack, Nam-yi vows to protect Ja-in, becoming her only remaining kin. Over the course of 13 years, Nam-yi evolves into a formidable archer and hunter, his skills rivaled only by his father's legend.
A twist of fate comes in the form of Seo-goon, Mu-seon's son, who seeks to marry Ja-in with the blessings of their godfather, Mu-seon. As the wedding unfolds, Nam-yi ventures into the mountains, hunting deer in blissful ignorance of the impending catastrophe. The distant roar of an invading force brings him back to a village bathed in blood, his sister abducted, and his step-father slain.
Driven by loss and fueled by vengeance, Nam-yi embarks on a perilous journey. With his bow as his ally, he aims to dismantle the monstrous Qing army and reclaim the only family he has left - his sister. This is a tale of survival, sacrifice, and the relentless pursuit of justice, set against the backdrop of a war-torn era.
