Joel, a sardonic film critic from the 1980s with a penchant for horror, is living a life that seems to be slipping away from him. His world turns upside down when he inadvertently discovers a clandestine self-help group, not for those seeking to overcome mundane habits, but for bone-chilling serial killers seeking solace in their shared darkness. Suddenly, he's trapped in a world far more horrifying than those he critiques, facing off against five of the most devious minds, each with a blood-curdling resume of death. With his life hanging in the balance, Joel is cornered with two stark choices: kill or become the next gruesome headline. Mustering his intimate knowledge of horror tropes, he attempts to blend in amongst the killers, all the while scrambling to find his inner beast to survive the night. Can he outwit these real-life monsters and escape the terrifying predicament he's found himself in?
