Plot
In the throbbing heart of Valentine's Day, 1988, an outcast named Jeremy Melton musters the courage to approach the unapproachable - the popular girls at the school dance. One by one, they rebuff him, until Dorothy, an insecure girl on the fringes of popularity, gives him a chance. Under the shadowy bleachers, they share an intimate moment, only for it to be shattered by a ruthless group of school bullies. To save face, Dorothy accuses Jeremy of assault, sparking a brutal public humiliation that echoes through the school corridors as Jeremy is stripped and beaten.
Fast-forward to the dawn of the new millennium, the girls who were once the queens of the school gym - Kate, Paige, Shelly, Lily, and Dorothy - are now navigating the labyrinth of love and dating in their 20s. As Valentine's Day looms on the horizon, their romantic escapades take a sinister turn. Following a dreadful date, one of the girls, a diligent pre-med student, is mercilessly slain by a mysterious killer adorned with a chilling Cherub mask. A cryptic Valentine card, a harbinger of her untimely demise, had arrived prior to her date.
As the remaining girls gather at her funeral, a shiver of dread runs down their spines when they too begin to receive ominous cards. Questions swirl and suspicions rise, drawing them towards a haunting conclusion - could Jeremy Melton be their tormentor? Vanished without a trace, his transformation into a handsome stranger is only a matter of speculation.
As the body count rises and the clock ticks towards the day of love, the surviving girls must decipher this deadly Valentine riddle. Is Jeremy Melton, once a ridiculed nerd, now a suave predator, hiding behind the mask of their handsome boyfriends? Amidst the rising terror, they must confront their past and halt this revenge-fuelled killing spree before they too become a bloody Valentine tribute.
