Plagued by the grievous loss of his best friend Scott, the tormented Dean Cage, a former CIA operative now navigating a rehabilitation program, is struggling to make sense of life once more. His past as a military man and CIA agent haunts him, as he grapples with the debilitating grip of extreme PTSD. His only solace is Scott's sister, Detective Amy Knight, who he intends to marry. But their world spirals into chaos during an innocuous dinner date in a local restaurant. A case of mistaken identity ensnares Dean in a perilous web of conspiracy and danger.
