In the bustling heart of the Centaur Apartment complex, nests the lecherous landlord, Hogan. He's a man with a distinct taste for young, single women, renting his apartments at enticingly low prices, only to stealthily infringe on their privacy and attempt to seduce them. After his recent dalliance with the intellectual Dr. Irene Wilson fizzles out, leaving her apartment vacant, he eagerly sets his sights on the fresh-faced college student, Robin Austin. The chance to lure Robin becomes even more appealing when he learns of her tall, brunette roommate. Unknown to Hogan, the roommate is David Manning, Robin's boyfriend, and their living arrangement is purely platonic. Robin, Irene's diligent student and innocent niece, believes in love over lust. She convinces David, who's wrestling with sexual frustration, to live together in a non-romantic setup to test their compatibility before they leap into marriage.
