Plot

In a whirlwind of rock and rebellion, 16-year-old Dorothy is a starry-eyed groupie to a blossoming rock band. Her world is abruptly upended when their van crashes, causing her to lose consciousness and awaken in a parallel universe as gritty as her own reality. She's confronted with the shocking news that she's unintentionally killed a local thug with the van. In this alternate world, she encounters a flamboyant fashionista known as Glynn the Good Fairy who bestows upon her a pair of dazzling red shoes. This gift is her ticket to the grand finale concert of the Wizard - a gender-fluid rock deity dominating the city's evening skies. However, her journey is fraught with danger, as the slain thug's vengeful brother relentlessly pursues her, threatening her safety at every turn. Dorothy finds solace and companionship in an eclectic trio: a mute surfer with a heart of gold, a seemingly heartless mechanic with hidden depths, and a hardened biker with a soft spot. Together, they navigate this grim reality, determined to reach the Wizard's concert, offering a thrilling blend of music, mayhem, and a dash of magic. "Twentieth Century Oz" is a captivating tale of survival, friendship, and the quest for freedom against a backdrop of rock 'n' roll.
