Plot

Under the watchful eye of Captain Mickey, a seemingly mundane day aboard his cherished tugboat is suddenly disrupted by the static hum of a distress call. The urgency is palpable as a sinking ship desperately solicits assistance. With his motley crew composed of the bumbling duo, Donald and Goofy, Mickey navigates the chaos of the moment. While the pelicans add to the pandemonium, Goofy wrestles with the obstinate boiler door, inadvertently stoking it beyond capacity. Meanwhile, Donald finds himself in a comical dance of disarray with the relentless machinery. The frenzied rush to action is amplified by the sight of the dock, or rather half of it, being unwittingly dragged along by the over-enthusiastic tugboat. The tugboat groans under the strain, culminating in a dramatic explosion of the overworked boiler. The tense atmosphere dissipates into a cloud of smoke and irony as the crew learns that the desperate SOS was nothing more than a scene from a radio show. In "Tugboat Mickey," a routine maintenance day morphs into a rollercoaster of wild misadventures, a testament to the comedic genius of the beloved trio, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. The film invites viewers to an unexpected journey filled with laughter, chaos, and a dash of deception, all set against the backdrop of the vast and unpredictable sea.
