Plot

In the shadowy era following the collapse of the Roman Empire, Britain, fragmented into various tribes, is plagued by the formidable power of an untouched Ireland. As Ireland's forces maraud Britain's tribes, Marke, a beacon of justice and nobility among the British leaders, seeks unity among the clan chiefs. However, the Irish, led by the ruthless Morholt, unleash a devastating attack, resulting in a bloodbath. Amidst this chaos, Marke sacrifices his hand to safeguard a young boy, Tristan, orphaned in the onslaught. Over the years, Marke nurtures Tristan as his own, shaping him into a fearless warrior. As Tristan matures, he valiantly liberates his enslaved people from another Irish invasion, slaying the vicious Morholt in the process. But his victory is tainted as Morholt's poison-laced sword leaves him on the brink of death. Believed to have perished, Tristan is sent adrift in a funeral boat, which ultimately washes up on the Irish coast. Here, he encounters the enchanting Isolde, the Irish princess once betrothed to Morholt, who nurses him back to health in secret, their identities concealed from each other, sparking a clandestine romance. When the imminent threat of discovery by Irish guards looms, Tristan voyages back to Britain, leaving behind an unwitting Isolde. In a bid to fracture the British tribes further, King Donnchadh of Ireland, alongside the treacherous Wictred, orchestrates a joust, offering Isolde's hand in marriage to the victor. Unaware of the prize, Tristan triumphs and dedicates his victory to Marke, aiming to crown him king and unite the British clans. However, the revelation of his beloved Isolde being the prize forces Tristan into a heart-wrenching dilemma: to choose between his loyalty to Marke and his profound love for Isolde.
