Kai (Keanu Reeves) was left to die in a ditch before he was rescued by Lord Asano Naganori and brought him home to be raised with his daughter. When Lord Asano gets killed by a supreme leader of a province nearby, Kai joins Oishi and joins the 47 Ronin to save their providence from demise.
