Plot

Cloaked in the armor of corporate professionalism and armed with a high-end briefcase, we meet Murray, a sharp marketing executive who strays into a shortcut through an urban park nestled in the heart of Toronto. His path takes an unexpected detour when he finds himself lost in the park's secluded underbelly, which leads him into a confrontation with a rebellious punk teen. Unbeknownst to Murray, this teenage miscreant is just one part of a five-member gang, a motley crew of four boys and a girl. Driven by adrenaline, Murray decides to outsmart the gang by scaling a towering tree, hoping to remain hidden until they disperse. Unfortunately, his plan crumbles when they discover him perched high above. Initially, Murray resigns himself to their commands, but an unforeseen twist of fate reveals that his arboreal refuge provides him with unexpected leverage against his youthful aggressors. What ensues is a gripping psychological battle, an intense game of endurance as Murray and the gang engage in a series of will-testing standoffs. The tree becomes their battleground, a place of physical and emotional torment where each side learns more about the other, pushing their limits and resolve to the edge. This seemingly ordinary urban park transforms into a battlefield of wits and will, as they vie to see who can outlast the other in this high stakes game of survival.
