Plot

In the heart of Los Angeles, 1991, Jack Deth has grown comfortable with his life alongside his new wife, Lena, in the aftermath of their victorious battle against Whistler six years prior. Their ally, Hap Ashby, a reformed pitcher for the California Angels, has found his way from the depths of despair to vast wealth through shrewd investments, funding an eccentric collection of fire trucks amongst his acquisitions. Yet, tranquility is about to shatter for this motley crew. E.D. Wardo, Whistler's menacing brother, has navigated the threads of time, establishing a sinister trancer farm under the seemingly altruistic organization, GreenWorld. Pledging to 'sanctify the planet', GreenWorld darkly manipulates the vulnerable, snatching homeless souls and mental patients to fashion their own army of 'tranced' minions. Their prime target? Hap, the progenitor of a future Council Member. Jack, ever ready to scorch a swarm of trancers, is blindsided by the unexpected arrival of his deceased wife, Alice. Harnessing the marvels of technology, Alice has been plucked from the jaws of death and catapulted back to 1991 to assist Jack in thwarting Wardo's nefarious plan. As the pressure escalates, Lena's anguish burgeons at the prospect of her husband's departure for another woman, Hap seeks refuge in his old alcoholic comforts, and Jack is confronted with a chilling reality; Alice's return to the future signifies her imminent death. Yet, Jack Deth is not a man easily defeated. Amid the chaos, he seeks a way to mend the broken pieces. After all, he always does.
